AUTOMATIC IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM (AIS)
AIS R4
Receiving transmitted messages from other ships within VHF range, and plot the position of the ships with its speed, name, call sign, heading, course over ground etc. on the AIS display and/or external plotting aids. This means that every ship within VHF radio coverage may be automatically plotted on the bridge display systems. R4 provides the world with the AIS solutions it requires, both at sea and on land.
GLOBAL POSITIONING SYSTEM (GPS)
GPS R4
The new navigation product is self-monitoring and extremely user friendly. They perform continuous RAIM (Receiver Autonomous Integrity Monitoring) calculations. This allows the Officer Of the Watch (OOW) to set the required navigation accuracy for any stage of the journey. The R4 Navigation System will then give continuous feedback on whether the accuracy requirement is being met.
SPEED LOG
Walker Speed Log 4020
Walker Speed Log 7070
High accuracy over entire speed range. Entirely solid state design and rugged construction. Easy to install.
ECHO SOUNDER
Echo Sounder GDS101
The Raytheon GDS 101(Graphic Depth Sounder) is a universal echo sounder for vessels of all sizes which require a navigational echo sounder onboard. The GDS 101 is designed for ease of use and incorporates more features than the most other echo sounders on the market.
Echo Sounder ED165
Echo Sounder Type ED-165 is a IMO type approved echo sounder. It is excellent for operation using 110/220V AC, 50/60Hz with Transmitted Power of 500W and Frequency of 50KHz (For Normal Operation) or 200KHz (For Shallow water operation).
COMPASS
Magnetic Compass
REFLECTA 1
REFLECTA/1/Fiberline is a reflector compass binnacle for worldwide use. It meets all important national and international specifications. Included in the range of delivery are all necessary components as magnetic reflector compass, azimuth device, reflection tube, correctors (only Flinder's bar as extra) illumination, emergency illumination and installation material.
MK 2000
For commercial vessels over 150GRT, fishing vessels over 35m and naval vessels with or without dg correction suitable for use with Lilley & Gillie (and other) transmitting magnetic compass (TMC) equipment to operate repeaters, off-course alarms and outputs to navigation equipment including gyro back up.
Gyro Compass
STD22
The gyro compass STD 22 has been designed with a Rate-of-Turn Signal Output to meet the IMO requirements for RoT information and to provide the AIS with the Rate-of-Turn data. The redundant CANopen bus system complies with maritime standard and allows the Standard 22 to be easily integrated into a system.
REPEATER COMPASS
STEERING REPEATER
The new steering repeater ensures a clear indication of the heading information by using a 360° and a 10° compass card. In addition heading information is shown on a digital display. Both the analogue and the digital display provide a graduation of a tenth of a degree.
BEARING & STEERING REPEATER
For navigational purposes readings of the true course are required in various places on board a ship. Such readings are provided by repeater compasses.
DIGITAL REPEATER COMPASS
The Digital Repeater Compass indicates heading by using a large display. Heading can be read easily from different viewing angles up to a distance of ten metres.
The decimal degree digit is smaller to prevent erroneous reading.
NAV DATA REPEATER
The Gyro Interface, type NDR (Nav Data Repeater) converts heading signals into synchro or step format from older gyro compasses in the NMEA 0183 standard. For all AIS (Automatic Identification Systems) and VDRs (Voyage Data Recorders) that will not accept directly input of synchro or step signals, the gyro interface NDR is the optimal signal converter. The gyro interface converts also speed log signals, 200pulses/nm in NMEA 0183 data. The NMEA telegrams (output) for bottom track or water track are selectable. The status input for forward and reverse vessel speed is also possible. Supported via a serial input (NMEA 0183), the Nav Data Repeater indicates also Heading, Set Course, Speed or Rate-of-Turn. Data selection will be done by using the arrow key. Relay contacts for system failure and de-synchronisation are available. A bar graph shows the direction (port/starboard) of the Rate-of-Turn.
COURSE & RUDDER ANGLE RECORDING SYSTEM
The Raytheon Marine course printer registers the courses steered during the entire voyage. The course is recorded (full 360°) with scale on commercially available endless computer paper, so that no special paper is required. The recorded data are stored temporarily and, in order to avoid continuous operation, printed out every 4 minutes. The course printer can be connected to any Standard 20 gyro compass equipment.
BEARING SIGHT STANDARD
The device is used for taking bearings of terrestrial and astronomical objects and is the standard type of bearing sight that fits 246 mm bezels of repeater compasses.
TELESCOPIC BEARING SIGHT
The instrument fulfills all repuirements for operation on board.
BEARING SIGHT SP190
The bearing sight CP 190 is intended for use on Raytheon Anschütz bearing repeater compasses.
Features are:
– hinged wire and slit sine vane for exact bearings.
– two hinged shade glasses for direct sun observation.
– index marks for reading the relative bearings on the graduated scale of the repeater compass.
– glass prism with index wire to read compass bearings on the compass card.
– the bearing sight comes in a protective case for safe keeping.
TRANSMITTING MAGNETIC COMPASS
TMC
It is is designed for the combination with the Magnet Compass type REFLECTA can be used wherever with small ships or larger vessels which have a gyro compass.
VOYAGE DATA RECORDER
TOTEM PLUS SVDR/VDR
Totem Voyage Data Recorder is a well proven and affordable system. Totem VDR/SVDR fully complies with IMO regulations and is type approved by DNV. This is the only VDR with real added value benefits to the ship owner.
WIND MEASUREMENT INSTRUMENT
WALKER WIND SPEED AND DIRECTION SENSORS
A robust range of lightweight and heavyweight masthead units, all providing the same output, suitable for a variety of applications.
WALKER ADVANCED UNIVERSAL INDICATORS
Range of matching indicators for all commercial vessels in two din standard sizes to suit a wide variety of applications.
RATE-OF-TURN
RAYTHEON ROT
The rate gyro is an aid for steering and manoeuvring of seagoing-, inland waterways- and riverships. The gyro element is a component of the well-proven Anschütz gyro technology and thus a guarantee for reliability, precision and long life; developed for round-the-clock operation.
